My first few days of class were okay. I had a lot of adjusting to do. My biology teacher gave a lot of work the first day of class which made things a bit stressful. All of my other classes went pretty well. Overall, my first week of classes went well and I like my professors.

Jecia Anderson on faviorite summer outfit...
Fashion is a unique way to define yourself. What you wear and how you present yourself is important. When picking an outfit, it’s best to know your body and what fits you best. I can be extremely indecisive when it comes to this sort of thing. I like to just throw on a pair of jean shorts and a nice shirt with a purse to match. Then to complete my whole ensemble, a pair of heels to pull...

Sarah Wollett on favorite summer dish...
My favorite summer dish is hard to choose because I am a big lover of food. When I am home, my favorite dish is breakfast for dinner. My mom makes homemade biscuits, which are to die for and I usually put tomato on them or homemade jelly. She also cooks sausage, bacon, and eggs. If I’m lucky we have pancakes too. And anybody that knows me knows I have Texas Pete hot sauce on most of it. ...

Coach Bell on Father's Day...
Father’s Day is a great time of year to reflect on the people in our lives that are special to us. I am fortunate my father is one of those people for me. The way he has positively influenced my life allows me to strive to positively contribute to the lives of my players. While Father’s Day is especially set aside for fathers, it can also be a great time to show appreciation for...

Coach Nelson on worst summer job ever...
I never had a bad summer job! The hardest but most fun job I ever had was spending the summer on the road working basketball camps between my junior and senior year in college. I would leave home on Saturday to head to the next University. Saturday evening was spent learning drills, demonstrating them for the coaches, and finding out what my responsibilities would be for the week. On...

Chantal Dunbar on Most Challenging Aspect of Last...
My most challenging situation this year was Time Management. I struggled with this because I hadn’t been exposed to juggling so much basketball along with school work. Since basketball was intense, draining, and time consuming it was difficult for me to manage it was school along with everything else in college. I never realized how important time management was until I was a college...

Mothers Day! "On Mother's Day" by Coach Elliott
I spent Mother’s Day with my mom! We went to church, then went back to the house to eat and relax. I always enjoy spending time with my mom, our relationship gets closer as we both get older. Mother’s day is a day that we have set aside to honor mother’s, but I feel like Mother’s Day is everyday. Everyday is a good day to show appreciation for people who take on the...

May Reflection: Simone Rutledge shares her most...
My most memorable moment is when we were in the weight room and Coach Bell was in one of his moods to tell a joke. So he walks up to Tish and I and says “What did the suspenders say to the pants?” Me and Tish looked at each other and said “What did they say?” His response was “What up my britches?!”
